Emery High played their first ever soccer game against Parowan High on Friday. Despite it being the first boy’s soccer game for Emery, Spartan Jax Gardner managed to score in the first half. Parowan also connected with the net twice.
Both teams stepped up their defense in the second and remained scoreless, giving emery a 3-1 loss to start the season.
Emery will travel to Moab to take on Grand on Thursday.
