On Jan. 27 Emery High launched what seemed to be thousands of white balloons into the air for World Peace Awareness.
The Emery High Honor Society brought World Peace Awareness to Emery High. The society recently asked every student to write a message that they thought would bring world peace. Later, they collected every answer and then inserted each one inside the white balloons that symbolize white doves and at random handed them out to students.
The balloons were let go on the count of three. Emery High Students videotaped the balloons as they floated up in the air. A video will soon be sent out by the society and will be combined with thousands of videos making a stand for World Peace Awareness.
