San Juan hosted the Region 12 teams on Wednesday morning for another match on the golf course.
Grand took the team win for the second time this season with a score of 341. The Dinos were only six strokes behind Grand and still have a commanding lead in the region. Richfield came in third at 350, Emery followed at 372, then South Sevier and San Juan at 417 and 434, respectively.
Carbon’s Bode Salas led all golfers with a 77 round followed by teammate Kaden Slavensky at 78. Trevin Wakefield led the Spartans with 90 strokes. For the first time all season, the Spartans top four golfers all came in under 100 strokes, which led them to their team low for the season with 372 strokes.
The Region will be back at it on Thursday, Sept. 12 at the Carbon Country Club.
