The Lady Spartans had two games over the weekend at a neutral site, the Sevier Valley Center, against Parowan and Enterprise.

On Friday, Emery annihilated the Parowan Rams, 83-19. They put the game out of reach with a 28-4 first quarter and followed it up by a 20-6 second quarter. It never got better for the Rams. Kacelyn Toomer had a game-high 17 points followed by 14 from Megan Jensen and 11 by Tayden Nielson. The Lady Spartans had 40 rebounds, 24 assists, 24 steals and six blocks with only four turnovers as a team.

Emery stayed hot on Saturday against the Enterprise Wolves. The Spartans quickly jumped out to a 19-2 lead after one quarter of play and never looked back. This game was closer comparatively, but the Lady Spartans still walked away with a 31 point victory, 64-33.

Kacelyn again led the team with 18 points. Kinlee Toomer had 16 points and five assists on the night with Jensen adding another 13 points and six blocks to her season total. Emery averaged 50% from the floor in both games combined over the weekend.

Emery (7-0, 0-0, Region 15) will host two home games to close out the calendar year. They will play 4A Payson (4-3, 0-0 Region 10) on Tuesday and North Summit (8-0, 0-0 Region 16) on Friday in a game which may feature two unbeaten teams. Both games will be streamed live on ETV Channel 10 and online here.
