Emery began its Region 12 schedule in Moab against the Lady Red Devils on Tuesday.
The Lady Spartans came out strong and put in four goals in the first half. They added one more in the second and Kiri Cook had another solid game in front of the net for her second shutout of the season in the 5-0 victory.
Coupled with the five goals, Emery two assist and 23 shots on goal.
Region play continues for the Lady Spartans (2-5, 1-0 Region 12) on Thursday when they continue on the road to South Sevier (0-5, 0-1 Region 12).
