Emery freshman Megan Jensen stuffed the stat sheet in the Lady Spartans’ 51-35 win against 1A Duchesne Friday night. She poured in 13 points and snagged eight boards and swatted seven shots in the win over the fourth-ranked team in 1A.
Camrey Johnson added 10 points to help Emery even up its season record at 5-5 with Region 15 play beginning next week. In all, nine Lady Spartans scored in the game.
Emery (5-5, 0-0 Region 15) will play at Grand (4-7, 0-0 Region 15) on Tuesday. The game can be viewed live on ETV Channel 6 at 7 p.m.
