Seemingly nothing can stop the Lady Spartans as they aren’t just winning games, they are dominating them. Emery made quick work of Canyon View on Wednesday with another 3-0 sweep. The Spartans were never in trouble and won the sets 25-15, 25-17 and 25-10, respectively.
Thursday night featured a different opponent and venue, but the same result. Emery cruised in the first set over Duchesne 25-9. The second set was much closer, but the Spartans still won by five points, 25-20. They extended their sweep streak to seven with a 25-18 win in the third set.
The Spartans have not dropped a set in over two weeks and have extended their perfect record to 14-0. Emery (14-0, 2-0) have a week off before the team hosts an important region match with Carbon (11-1, 2-0) on Sept. 21.
