PRICE, Utah (August 23, 2016) – Castleview Hospital and Emery Medical center are pleased to announce that Dalen Johnson, NP-C will be transitioning to Emery Medical Center. Dalen Johnson NP-C specializes in family medicine and will begin seeing patients September 1st, located at 90 W. Main Street Castle Dale, UT.
Dalen began his education in Price at the College of Eastern Utah. He then continued his schooling at Utah Valley University in Orem. Dalen received his degree from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. During this time, he worked full time at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center as an RN in the Cardiac ICU and cardiac catheterization lab for eight years. After graduation, Dalen had the opportunity to return to the Carbon and Emery county area and work at Carbon Medical Service in East Carbon and Helper doing family practice. In 2015, Dalen was given the opportunity to work with Dr. Beecher in his busy pain management clinic. Working with Dr. Beecher, Dalen has learned to assess many different procedures, treatments and medication to help reduce pain and keep people more active, independent and happy. Dalen also works in occupation medicine at WorkPoint and will continue to do so upon his transition to Emery Medical Center.
Dalen specializes in family medicine and occupation medicine and will provide services in occupational medicine, such as pre-employment services, customized screening and physicals, post-accident services, comprehensive physical examinations, drug screens and more. Dalen will also see patients for routine check-ups, immunizations, sick-visits and more.

Emery Medical Center is a family practice and urgent care clinic in Castle Dale. Emery Medical Center is staffed with a full-time physician, Richard Donaldson, D.O., and three advance practice providers Dalen Johnson, NP-C, Gabriel Sermon, PA-C and Ingrid Olsen, PA-C. In addition to family health, Emery Medical offers women’s health, occupational medicine and physical therapy. They also offer on-site laboratory and x-ray services. Walk-in appointments are welcome. Emery Medical Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a night clinic on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. The night clinic runs until 7 p.m.
