The Emery High Spartans faced off against the North Sevier Wolves twice last week, scoring victories in both matches.
The first, hosted on the Spartans’ home field on Thursday, was a success as the home team shut out the opposing school 2-0. Then, the next day, Emery traveled to North Sevier where it continued to dominate the Wolves with a final score of 3-0.
The Spartans will advance to the first round of the state playoffs on Wednesday at American Leadership Academy. Kickoff is slated for 4 p.m.
