Dawson Jensen scored 19 points and Bailey Faimalo chipped in 14 to lead the Spartans over non-region foe Parowan Tuesday night, 53-50.
Emery won the second and third quarters and hung on as the Rams trimmed the lead to two late in the fourth quarter. Faimalo made one of two free throws with under a minute remaining to push the lead to three. Parowan’s Justin Hulet had his desperation three pointer at the buzzer blocked by Faimalo.
The Spartans (9-5, 2-1 Region 15) will be on the road for the next four games with the first being a region contest against San Juan (8-7, 0-2 Region 15) on Friday.
