The Emery Spartans traveled to Price on Thursday evening to take on the Carbon Dinos in a junior varsity matchup. The Spartans romped the hosting team, taking the 43-30 win.
To cap off homecoming week for Emery, the varsity team will host Carbon in Castle Dale Friday evening. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. The action will start early on ETV Channel 10 at 5:30 p.m. with a special pregame show.
Jordan Buscarini will be the host for the pre-game special. Guests include Provo Mayor and Republican 3rd Congressional District nominee John Curtis, Emery High head coach Jon Faimalo, student body President Malone Moss, Emery High principal Steven Gordon and Dell Stillson, Mark Allen and Steven Jorgensen, all of whom were members of the 1987 Emery football squad that won the state championship.

Next week, a similar broadcast will take place as Carbon High hosts its homecoming game.
