Construction work is moving along for Emery Telcom. Currently, crews are working to run fiber optic line to each residence in Carbon and Emery counties. Once the project is complete, Emery Telcom subscribers will enjoy the benefits of increased Internet speeds directly to homes.
Emery County construction is nearly complete with Cleveland and Elmo crews finishing work in the area. Crews have also been working in the Carbon County area for several months. Work in the North Price area known as the Coves is 90 percent finished. Crews will continue pulling fiber until upgrades are completed in this area.
Crews have started construction in the Cedar Hills area located along 800 North in Price. Construction is nearly complete in the areas of 466 and 255 North.
Kenilworth, West Helper, Martin Road and Spring Canyon construction will begin within the next two weeks with the installation of aerial fiber cable.
Lastly, the continuation of fiber installation from Woodside to Green River will begin in the next few weeks.
