In the last regular season game for Emery the Spartans faced off against the North Sevier Wolves. Only junior varsity and varsity games were played and no sophomore game was held. The Wolves came into the game with a 10-9 record.

For many of the junior varsity players this game was the last time they would be able to play this season and they didn’t disappoint, winning 66-49. The Spartans came out the gates hot and started off with an 8-0 lead. It was much of the same throughout the whole game until the fourth where North Sevier got within 6 before Emery finally clinched it. The team got out on the break and had 15 steals as a team for the game. Gavin McDermott is the MVP of the game with 19 points and 11 rebounds, Gavin especially preformed late in the fourth quarter to stop a comeback attempt from the Wolves. Mcklane Allred had 17 points and Ridge Nielson chipped in 7 assists. It was an extremely good year for the junior varsity team as they went 17-3 and 6-0 in region play.

It was senior night for the varsity team and seniors Curtis Mason, Spencer Labrum, Brendon Jorgenson, Dawson Jensen, Corbin Barnett, Logan Tuttle and David Dyer all played in their last home game for the Spartans. They were recognized and given gifts before the game. They all made their last home game even better by pulling out the win, beating the Wolves 53-49. Like the junior varsity team they came out hot with a 8-0 lead early fueled by Bay Faimalo who scored 6 of those 8 first points. At half North Sevier got within two thanks to a three pointer to end the half. In the third they got up to a four point lead and worked hard on the glass, grabbing down a lot of offensive rebounds. In the fourth Dawson Jensen played well, he would end up with 6 points and 13 rebounds, grabbing boards and scoring all of his six points in the second half. Bay Faimalo is the MVP of the game and scored a career high 26 points and added a team-high six assists. Bay was able to penetrate the defense and scored every single one of his points inside the paint or at the free throw line. В Spencer Labrum also did really well, he hit three of five from behind the arc making up most of his 11 points and he did well on the glass as well pulling down nine boards. After this win the Spartans are now 13-7 on the season and in 2nd place in Region 15.
