Emery’s Easton Gordon couldn’t be stopped Friday night as the Junior landed five three-pointers in the team’s nonregion matchup against Millard en route to the 83-40 victory by the black and gold.
Besides Gordon’s 15 points, Senior Bowdie Jacobson similarly put up three three-point shots and a total of 15. Koby Butler was behind in points, coming in at 12 at the end of the night while Sophomore Cade Brazier managed 12, who netted four three-pointers during the night.
Emery’s huge 27-6 lead in the first set the stage for the rest of the action as the team continued their dominance ending the second 42-11. The third and forth had Emery lighting up the board with 22 and 19, respectively, before taking the overall victory.
Emery will next take on Delta at home Wednesday evening as the team looks for its next victory.
