After a crushing 5-10 defeat at the hands of North Sevier on Thursday, the Emery Spartans entered the diamond on Friday hopeful of moving on in the state tournament. The team, however, lost the match against Grand 3-6.
Emery concluded their seasons with three region wins and seven losses.
