Emery High School senior wrestler Augustus “Gus” Dalton signed a letter of intent with Colorado Mesa University on Wednesday afternoon.
Following a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he will enter Mesa University in the fall of 2021.
Dalton wrestled for four years as part of the Emery Spartan team. He has been a state finalist twice and also took a state title during that time.
He is the son of Gratt and Corinne Dalton of Emery Town. His coaches have been Justin Thornley and Kirk Christiansen.
