Responsibilities
The Scholarship Specialist (Student Services Coord II) will report to the Scholarship Team in Student Financial Support. This position is responsible for operational duties and customer service within the Scholarship Office. All team members strive to possess the following characteristics:

The Scholarship Specialist will be part of Scholarship Team and will work collaboratively with all office staff, including campus partners across the USU system. Duties and responsibilities of this position may include:
• Assist with customer service functions within the scholarship office
• Awarding and adjusting specific scholarships
• Assisting with ScholarshipUniverse, the institution's approved scholarship management tool
• Monitoring recipient academic progress
• Scholarship auditing (checking for term utilization, qualification, etc.)
• Review of daily outputs and reports
• Participate in on-going discussion to develop and streamline department policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
• Four years of experience; or an associate degree plus two years of experience; or a bachelor's degree is required.
• Knowledge, skillset, or potential related to the specific duties & responsibilities of the position.
