DISPATCH ROSTER
POSTING CLOSES DECEMBER 6, 2024
The Emery County Sheriff’s Office will be compiling a roster from which qualified individuals may be selected when openings for a Dispatcher occur.
Applicants for the examination process must be a minimum of 18 years of age and citizen of the United States. Applicants will be disqualified if they have been convicted, as defined under Utah law, of (a) any felony; (b) any Class A Misdemeanor; (c) domestic violence; (d) Class B Misdemeanor DUI within the last five years; or (e) any criminal offense involving moral turpitude. Dispatchers must be able to successfully complete BCI Terminal Operator Class if hired.
Applicants for employment may be required to undergo a drug test and an extensive background check as a condition of employment.
