Eastern Utah Community Credit Union (EUCCU) hosted its annual Pumpkin Festival on Wednesday, Oct. 18. Paige Anderson of EUCCU explained that this event is organized to raise money to help members of the community, while also offering the community a great fall tradition.
This year marked this sixth annual festival and this year, the funds raised benefitted Carbon Caring for Kids. Anderson explained that the funds were raised through selling pumpkins, cotton candy and popcorn. There were also carnival games and a coloring contest where kids could win candy and other prizes.
“This year, we earned over $550 for Carbon Caring for Kids so far,” Anderson shared. “We are still selling pumpkins and continuing to raise money for the cause.”
The pumpkins are available at the Price branch for $3 each or two for $5.
