From Dec. 6 to Dec. 20 from 5 to 9 p.m., community members are encouraged to attend the Price Utah Family History Center’s Old Fashioned Christmas. The center, located at 85 East 400 North, will offer attendees hot chocolate, cookies, carolers, over 70 nativity scenes from around the world and a replica of a typical 1925 Christmas.

“They can come and experience an old-fashioned Christmas, see what a family might have been doing back in 1925 in their parlor,” explained the center’s director, Leland Gotfredson. “I want them to walk away with good memories of when they were young and for the young people to go away with an idea of what Christmas was like for their grandparents and great grandparents: just a wonderful feeling of Christmas.”

All who would like to attend are welcome and encouraged to do so. “That’s what our sign says outside: everyone’s welcome,” Gotfredson expressed.

Interested parties are also encouraged to visit the Price Utah Family History Center’s Facebook page for updates on other events in the future.
