Families gathered at the Carbon County Fairgrounds pond to participate in a fishing day hosted by the Division of Wildlife Resources on Saturday.
The three-hour event was free to anglers of all ages. The DWR provided rods, reels, fishing tackle and bait for those who did not have their own fishing gear. Division personnel also provided assistance and supervision for beginners and children.
Children 12-years-old and younger also had a chance to win prizes provided by the Division of Wildlife Resources.
