This Saturday the Division of Wildlife Resources will sponsor a family fishing day at the Gigliotti Pond in Helper from 9 a.m. until noon. The event is free and the general public is invited to participate. DWR will provide rods, reels and bait for the public to use.
A raffle will be held at noon and all kids 14 and under will receive a prize which may include fishing tackle, and a new rod and reel.
The pond will be freshly stocked with eight-inch rainbow trout prior to the event to give kids as much fishing excitement as possible.
