A local family is requesting assistance in locating a Price man. According to the family, he has been missing since Saturday.
“Dana Whiteleather is from Ogden but has lived in Price for over two years now,” Jennifer Marakis Hiefner, Whiteleather’s girlfriend, said. “He has a serious liver disease and he has been missing since Saturday at 10 p.m.”
According to Marakis Hiefner, Whiteleather was last seen in Ogden and was on his way home to Price. He never made it there and the family is concerned for his well-being, especially since he did not have his medicine with him.
A nationwide missing persons report was filed for Whiteleather on Monday.
Whiteleather was last seen wearing light blue levis with white crosses on back pockets, a grey button-up shirt and black leather coat. According to Marakis Hiefner, he always has glasses on his head. Whiteleather drives a silver 1999 Chrysler Concord with four doors. The license plate on the car reads Y283MG.
“We are concerned and worried as his medicine is at home,” Marakis Hiefner explained. “Please contact me or local police if you see him.”
Anyone with any information about Whiteleather is encouraged to call Marakis Hiefner at (801) 518-4497 or the Price City Police Department at (435) 636-3190.
