Famous American ‘Wax’ Museum at Castle Dale Elementary

Fifth grade students at Castle Dale Elementary took a fun spin on history Wednesday as they hosted their annual wax museum at the school.

Notable faces from the distant past to more recent times shared their stories. From Elvis to General MacArthur and Helen Keller to Christa McAuliffe the 5th grade students brought history to life for family members and other students who toured the museum.
Fifth grade teachers, Jamie Huggard and Jaime Anderson hosted the event. The following Americans and their student presenters were on hand to greet their audience:

It was a learning experience for participants as well as visitors to the museum.

“Parents, friends, relatives and schoolmates all enjoyed listening to the things they’d learned about their famous person,” said Castle Dale Elementary teacher Jaime Anderson.
