February’s employee of the month was announced at the Carbon County Commission meeting Wednesday evening. Presented by Rose Barnes and Daniel Campbell, the award was given not to one person but to an entire department: the Geographic Information System (GIS) department.
Barnes spoke very highly of the department and had many positive things to say. “They go above and beyond,” she stated.
Barnes went on to say that even people of the community take advantage of GIS services. The members of the department that accepted the award were supervisor Ben Clement, Jordan Behunin, and Mellissa Lasslo.
