Ferron American Legion Auxiliary Hosts Meet the Candidates

On Tuesday, the Ferron American Legion Auxiliary hosted a meet the candidates night at Ferron City Hall. This event created an opportunity for citizens to get to know the candidates and to ask questions before voting in the upcoming election.

Senator David Hinkins appeared at the event to represent Congressman Jason Chaffetz, who was unable to attend. Chaffetz is currently Utah’s 3rd Congressional District Congressman and is running for another term.

Utah House of Representatives Candidates Kay McIff representing District 70 and Bill Labrum running to represent District 69 were both in attendance as well as Emery County Commission candidates Keith Brady running for Seat A, Paul Cowley running for Seat B and Incumbent JR Nelson running as a write-in for Seat A.
