July 24 marked the 2019 Pioneer Day holiday in Utah. Throughout the state, many communities and individuals gathered to celebrate.
Ferron City was no exception to the celebrations as community members welcomed many from far and wide to the local park for a multitude of festivities. The local firemen took the opportunity to spray water that the children in attendance were able to run through and enjoy as a chance to cool down.
A potluck was also hosted during the festivities that was accompanied by cornhole and kickball. Finally, fireworks were lit into the darkening sky to cap off the fun.
