Ferron City Council member McCall Fuller spoke about plans to expand the city cemetery at a recent meeting. She and city treasurer Tami Bennett are currently working on a proposal for the expansion.
Also at the meeting, council members discussed the chip and seal project that the Castle Valley Special Service District will begin around March or April of this year.
Youth council members spoke to the council about planning the Easter egg hunt that will take place on April 2. They mentioned the possibility of posting their own leadership retreat as they are unable to attend the USU Leadership Conference and possibly updating the concession stand at the Mayor’s Park with the rest of their budget.
