Mrs. Bennett’s kindergarten class at Ferron Elementary became Shining Stars in their final program on Thursday morning. The students sang and recited many of the skills and values they have learned during the past school year. Each student introduced themselves to the audience with their first name and told how many syllables are in their name.
They recited the quotes required for the Liberty Kids program. Skills reviewed were vowels, rhyming words and counting by tens. Values included friendship, helping others and learning to like themselves. The program concluded with each student receiving recognition on the “red carpet.”
