Press Release
PRICE, UTAH. AUGUST 15, 2016 – Castleview Hospital broke ground on a new Urgent Care Complex on August 15, 2016. The Urgent Care and associated healthcare services will be located at 317 East 100 North in Price and is estimated to be completed in Spring 2017. The Urgent Care will offer medical care to the community with no referral or appointment necessary. Patients may visit the Urgent Care for all non-life-threatening, but still urgent, illness or injury, including colds, flu, infections, sprains or strains, cuts, rashes and minor allergic reactions. The Urgent Care will also offer preventative care such as flu shots, vaccinations and routine physical exams, and have on-site x-ray and lab capabilities.
“Our priority at the Urgent Care is providing our patients with high quality medical care that works with their busy schedules,” said CEO Mark Holyoak. “We want to ensure that your family can get the care they deserve when they need it.”
The Urgent Care center will not replace the patient’s primary care provider, but function as an extension of care whether the patient lives nearby or is visiting the area.
Along with additional physician offices, a retail pharmacy will be located in the Urgent Care building with access to a drive through to enable patients to pick up their prescriptions without leaving their vehicle.
This facility will also house a satellite physical therapy as an extension of the Castleview Wellness Center, all for the convenience of the community.
The Urgent Care will start taking applications in January 2017 for positions including: clerical, clinical, x-ray, lab and providers. You may visit our website at www.castleviewhospital.net for more information.
