Nearly 200 first responders were treated by the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce and local businesses at an appreciation banquet on Thursday evening. The event featured food, fun and entertainment for those that serve on the county’s front lines.
“We believe that these men and women work tirelessly to keep Carbon County safe and are the first at the scene of any accident,” the chamber shared. “They deserve this night of recognition and celebration.”
Price City Mayor Joe Piccolo led the ceremonies, taking time to honor each department of first responders throughout Carbon County. Those in attendance also enjoyed a meal catered by Grogg’s and entertainment provided by The Artz Center.
The event was free to all Carbon County first responders and a guest thanks to generous donations from local businesses.
