Heavy rains Tuesday near Green River caused flash flooding that damaged Emery Telcom fiber lines causing customers to lose service for several hours.
Emery Telcom crews were called out at approximately 8:45 p.m. to deal with the problem.
Redundant paths allowed telephone and Internet users to maintain service without interruption. Cable Television customers were without service for approximately 11 hours.
Response crews had the service up and running by 7:15 Wednesday morning.
More workers were sent out on Thursday to permanently repair the damage.
