On Friday afternoon after a severe rainstorm, authorities were paged to several reports revolving around flooding throughout Carbon County.
With a heavy amount of rain in such a short period time, the canal began to overflow and flood. A call came in reporting that an individual was trapped inside their residence at 1104 East 800 North. Carbon County Sheriff’s Office, Price City Police Department, Price City Fire Department, Carbon County Ambulance and Price City employees were quick to the scene.
The individual was promptly rescued from their residence. It is unknown of any injuries at this time.
Carbon County announced that sand bags are available at the Carbon County Fairgrounds.
