Students were a buzz this week over the new oven-baked onion rings! Who knew they could be made healthy enough for the USDA to approve? The whole grain breaded onion rings count for 1 grain and 1/4 vegetable.
The phytochemical in onion help improve immunity. The chromium helps regulate blood sugar and has been known to reduce inflammation. We offered some rings on the side and 2 on the burger turning an ordinary cheese burger into a Cowboy Burger!
The delicious onion ring gives the burger a satisfying crunch and exciting new flavor along with the tangy BBQ sauce.
