Food for Thought: Italian Meatballs

Government commodities make it easy for us to serve flavorful, nutritious dishes that keep our students coming back for more! Our appetizing meatballs have had a recent makeover and are made with turkey.

Whether we serve them with spaghetti or on a meatball sandwich, the students love them! We are now using turkey because it has a lower fat content than beef and offers more calcium for strong bones and teeth.
