In September, we showcased students nurturing vegetables and greens in the Lighthouse High Bio-Dome. Students continued to harvest fresh vegetables for their lunch program throughout the winter. This week students were enjoying fresh beets, radishes, carrots, lettuce and peas.
Farm-to-school programs are becoming more popular across the nation. Lighthouse High is leading that trend in Carbon School District.
