Strawberries help improve your brain’s “plasticity” to form new connections and make new brain cells while reducing the destruction of existing brain cells. They are also a vitamin rich sweet treat! Our students know what they like and fresh strawberries are the most requested fruit.

Strawberries are in season in various areas of the U.S. in spring, summer and fall. An average of 3 billion pounds are grown each year in the U.S. When not in season, we try to offer strawberries that were frozen at the peak of freshness for a special treat any time of the year.
