The Elks Lodge 1550 made a very generous donation to the Free Summer Lunch Program. With the current average participation of 650 lunches served daily, we expect to provide 29,000 free meals to kids 18 and under throughout our county this summer.
When available, kids can look forward to fresh bing cherries, grapes, raspberries, strawberries, melon and corn on the cob all made possible by this donation. Mary Alice Johnson presented a check from Elks Lodge 1550 for $2000.
All produce will be purchased locally. Come out to summer lunch and enjoy the fresh fruits and veggies!
