Former Senator Mike Dmitrich visits ETV 10 Studios

Former Utah Senator Mike Dmitrich sat down with host Randy Johnson from “Heart of Utah” in an interview May 21 to focus on his history in politics and current issues.

Dmitrich served both in the House of Representatives and Senate through his 40 years as a politician. He ran eleven times for the House, being opposed in three elections, and four times for the Senate, being opposed in each election. A former resident of Price, he represented the 27th District for the state of Utah.

Highway 6 was given its new name in honor of the senator’s dedication as the Mike Dmitrich Highway. Dmitrich kick-started the many projects that take place along the highway each year to make it safer for drivers.

Throughout his dedicated years of service, Dmitrich gave special thanks to his wife, three children, and three grandsons for their love and constant support. Dmitrich has been happily retired since 2008 and is currently living with his wife in Nevada.
