A fishing event will be held on June 7 from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Carbon County Fairgrounds pond, located in Price. The event is free.
The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources will stock the pond before the event. DWR staff will also provide rods, reels and bait, along with supervision and instruction. The Carbon County Recreation Department will provide free donuts, hot chocolate and coffee.

The event will run in conjunction with Utah’s annual free fishing day on June 7, which allows residents to fish any state lake, river or pond without a permit. All fishing regulations apply.
