The Emery County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) recently announced a generous donation that was made from a business in Castle Dale.
This business was the Family Dollar. Sheriff Greg Funk was joined by Emery County Search and Rescue team member Casey Toomer to accept the generous donation of soda and water from the business. The store’s manager, Sherry Howard, stated that the employees wished to donate to the volunteers that are not paid for their services that are provided to the community.
The Family Dollar also made a generous donation to the local fire departments. The ECSO stated that this is a busy time of year for the search and rescue team and the drinks will come in handy during the hectic schedule.
“Thank you Family Dollar for giving back to our hard working volunteers,” the ECSO concluded.
