Get Your Hands Dirty at Millsite BLM Volunteer Activity

The next volunteer work project for the BLM Price Field Office will be held near Millsite Reservoir on March 15. The BLM was able to get a good start on the Millsite Project already in March by rehabbing and seeding many of the duplicate or unneeded routes. They also installed vegetation recovery signs along the desired route.

This Saturday will be a continuation on the project by installing the rest of the needed signs and placing rocks and other natural barriers along the desired route.

Volunteers will be working in a specific area for this project and an OHV is not required, but people can bring one to help transport signs, rocks and other materials to the locations that they will be used. ATV trailers would be a handy tool for this project as well.

Plan on meeting at Millsite State Park at 9:00 a.m. on March 15.
