On Thursday, the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for Alysa Giraud’s new salon, Giraud Glamour Shop. The chamber also presented her with her first dollar of business.
After working at Don Marcos’ for six years, Giraud decided to open her own place. She provides a full-service hair salon. She offers haircuts, extensions, coloring, perms and smoothing treatments. She also does hairstyling for weddings, dances and other special occasions.
The salon is open Monday through Friday and most Saturdays by appointment. She normally works mornings and evenings, “Depending on what the client needs,” she said. Giraud can be contacted at (435) 650-8877. Her salon is located at 211 South 700 East in Price.
