The USU Eastern Golden Eagles came home with a narrow win against Weber State University on Wednesday after netting the ball in the final seconds to take the victory.
“Not a good first half but pulled it out in the second with a great second half,” coaches shared on social media.
The lone goal of the game came off of a corner kick in the final second of the game. The Eagles put the ball in the net to pull off the 1-0 win.
The win puts the team at 8-3 on the season and extends its win streak to six.
The Eagles will once again take to the field as they host Westminster on Saturday at 3 p.m. The women’s team will also play that day, squared off against Mesa State at 1 p.m.
