Those at Good Life Senior Living and Memory Care took the opportunity to celebrate the fact that November is National Hospice Month in a special way. This was accomplished by hosting separate lunches for various agencies at Good Life’s location in Price.
“During the month of November, the home care and hospice community honor the millions of nurses, home care aides, therapists and social workers who make a remarkable difference for the patients and families they serve,” the National Association for Home Care and Hospice shared. “These heroic caregivers play a central role in our health care system and in homes across the nation. To recognize their efforts, we call upon all Americans to commemorate the power of caring, both at the home and in their local communities, and ask them to join with the National Association for Home Care and Hospice (NAHC) by celebrating November as Home Care and Hospice Month.”
Good Life did its part to honor local entities that provide home care and hospice services to the community last week. Beginning on Tuesday, Nov. 12, employees and residents welcomed those that work at Symbii Home Care and Hospice to enjoy a meal. The following day, Rocky Mountain Home Care and Hospice employees were invited. The events concluded on Thursday, Nov. 14 as those from CNS Home Care and Hospice were welcomed.
These lunches were free to those that attended and took place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.
