In their lone contest of the week, the Lady Pirates went to Montezuma Creek on Tuesday to play Whitehorse. Green River cruised through the first two sets, winning 25-10 in the first and 25-20 in the second.
The Lady Raiders response in the third, taking the set 25-21 to make it 2-1. In a close fourth set, Green River closed the door, 25-23, to take its third straight road win and second in region.
Green River will look to do the same in Price on Tuesday against rival Pinnacle (3-10, 0-0 Region 19). The Lady Pirates will again be away at Tabiona (12-7, 2-1 Reigon 22) on Friday and then finally have a home region game on Saturday verse Monument Valley (4-1, 0-1 Region 19).
