The Green River Pirates are prepping for long 1A season as they have played three of their five games thus far this year against teams from 2A. The Grand Red Devils handed the Pirates a 65-37 loss on Tuesday night.
The Red Devils outscored the Pirates 46-12 in the second and fourth quarters combined to cruise to the win. Green River outscored Grand in the first and third quarters.
Green River will take part in the Richfield Preview over the weekend and will play Escalante, Parowan and Bryce Valley.
