The Green River Lady Pirates secured their first Region 19 victory Tuesday evening against visiting Whitehorse High School.
Whitehorse got as close at eight points in the second set, and that was as close as it would get on the night. Green River swept through all three games, 25-15, 25-17 and 25-14.
Green River (3-6, 1-1 Region 19) will travel to Price on Wednesday to take on the Pinnacle Panthers (2-6, 0-0 Region 19) at 6:15 p.m. The match can be viewed live on ETV Channel 10.
