The Green River Library played host to an open house to celebrate the beginning of National Library Week on Monday.

The celebration included snacks, sidewalk drawing, bookmark coloring, door prizes and drawings for prizes. Throughout the day, the library welcomed students to visit the library and help kickoff the week. In the morning, those in grades first, second, fifth and sixth visited the library while those in kindergarten as well as the third and fourth grades visited in the afternoon.

As always, the staff are there this week and every week to help the community with any questions regarding literature and all your library needs.
