According to KSL.com, Carbon CountyВ Sheriff’sВ Captain Guy Adams has resigned, effective Friday.
Adams, 44, has been on paid administrative leave since February 1. He was charged February 15 with three misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief stemming from an incident in which he keyed three emergency vehicles in a South Salt Lake lot of Premier Vehicle Installation January 5. Video surveillance showed Adams damaging the vehicles.
Adams will be arraigned April 16 on two class A misdemeanors and one class BВ misdemeanor.
When contacted, Sheriff James Cordova said only that heВ receivedВ Adams’ resignation and that he would not comment further on the case.
